The Brookhaven School District reminds all community members that privately owned vehicles, other than authorized Brookhaven School District vehicles, are not permitted on any school district property.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Cars
- Trucks
- Vans
- Motorcycles
- ATVs
- UTVs
- Dirt bikes
- Go-karts
- Golf carts (unless specifically authorized by the district)
- Any other unauthorized motorized vehicles
Unauthorized vehicles on school property create unnecessary safety hazards for students, staff, and visitors. They can also cause significant damage to athletic fields, playgrounds, sidewalks, landscaping, and other district facilities, resulting in costly repairs.
We ask all community members to help protect our schools by refraining from operating unauthorized vehicles on district property and by using only designated roadways and parking areas.
Individuals found operating unauthorized vehicles on school property will be asked to leave the premises and may be subject to trespassing charges or other legal action.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain safe, secure, and well-maintained campuses for our students, staff, and community. Thank you for helping us protect the facilities that serve the children of the Brookhaven School District.
Dr. Roderick Henderson
Superintendent
