Welcome back to another podcast episode of the Panther Podcast! In this episode, Dr. Henderson sits down to chat with the 2024 Homecoming Queen, Micah Walker. Walker has made a positive influence in many areas fulfilling a plethora of membership roles including the BHS Panther Flag Color Guard, Band, Volleyball Team, Cheerleader Squad, and one of the dance choreographers/actresses in the 2024 Homecoming Production all while being an honor roll student! Walker said that she’s very thankful to represent her class as their Homecoming Queen and is honored to make a mark in their class history. She and Dr. Henderson shared an enthusiastic, comedic and uplifting conversation that we’re sure you’ll enjoy!

The Brookhaven School District is deeply saddened by the passing of Susan Chapman, a dedicated and beloved member of our BSD family for over 30 years. Throughout her valued tenure, Mrs. Chapman held various leadership positions, making a profound and lasting impact on the lives of countless students, staff, and community members. Her commitment to education and her unwavering leadership will forever be remembered and appreciated.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all those who were touched by her legacy of service. She will be truly missed.
