21st Century Community Learning Center

Brookhaven School District’s 21st Century Community Learning Center provides academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for our children. The goal of this program is to help students meet state and local standards in their core academic subjects. In addition, it is designed to offer students a broad array of enrichment activities that will complement their regular academic programs.

Beginning September 21, 2015, homework help and tutoring will be provided at Lipsey School to 5th-12th grade students on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons during non-school hours.

During the summer, this program offers academic enrichment activities to BSD students. They are given to opportunity to participate in various programs that focus on topics such as youth development, drug and violence prevention, art, music, recreation, technology education, and character education.

Certified teachers operate this program in an effort to provide quality instruction in an orderly and safe environment.
