Summer Learning and Enrichment Plan

The district's summer learning and enrichment plan will target every student in the subject areas of English/Language Arts and Math.

Monday July 6th & Tuesday July 7th, between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, students and/or parents will be able to pick up weekly learning packets that focus on the MSCCR standards introduced and taught during the first nine weeks of the upcoming school year. One activity will be provided for each weekday for the month of July.

Web-based resources will continue to be made available through the district website as well as the Mississippi Department of Education's website. These sites contain materials and tools that may be used to provide additional resources to parents or students.

Students will submit completed assignments to their 2020-2021 teacher during the first week of the new school year. The teacher will then review and correct all assignments submitted. Afterward, the teacher will identify possible deficiencies for specific skills assessed and provide feedback to the students and the parent, if warranted. Students will receive a 100 daily grade for completing all four packets and submitting them for review during the first week of the 2020-2021 school year.
