Summer Feeding Program - Grab and Go Meals
March 16, 2020 Update
If our schools remain closed next Monday, March 23, the Brookhaven School District will open our Summer Feeding sites to serve children ages 18 years and younger. This is contingent upon MDE approval and food shipments arriving at the feeding sites in time for meals to be prepared. Although details have not been confirmed, this will most likely be a grab and go brown bag meal plan. Summer Feeding program details will be posted on the BSD website.
Update March 16 - Mississippi High School Activities Association Announcement
All sport and fine arts activities are shut down until March 29th. This includes contests, practices or rehearsals. This includes offseason weightlifting and conditioning. A decision will be made regarding continuing with spring activities before we reach the March 29th deadline. This shutdown is in effect for all schools wether they return to school before March 29th or not.
Update - March 14, 2020
