Panther Podcast
Welcome back to another episode of Panther Podcast! Episode 14 features host Dr. Henderson going down the Ole Brook memory lane that has led to present day values with his guest, Dr. Vernell Hooker. Hooker is the former Brookhaven School District Board President, alum of the district and owner of Antecho Salon. Henderson and Hooker discuss how being alumni of the Brookhaven School District have shaped their lives and the importance of keeping the standard and tradition going. Their “team” mentality has helped them achieve huge milestones like achieving the “B” rating for the entire school district with the help of everyone’s (faculty, administration, and student) effort and their everyday goals of keeping the “students” a priority. They’re aware of the “impact” they’re making on today’s students and want to make sure that all students (present and future) are equipped to graduate and ready for life after graduation.
